CASOS LEGALES DE COMICS: CASPER VS LOS CAZAFANTASMAS. 1986.

    En esta entrada vamos a conocer un caso legal de cómic, pero que en esta ocasión no se trata de un personaje de Marvel o DC, las dos empresas dominantes de la industria de los cómics. Sin embargo, el personaje de la polémica pertenece a una serie que sin duda cautivó a muchos en la infancia, la serie de cómics de Casper o Casparín, el fantasma amigable.

    La serie de historietas de Casper se hizo muy famosa a partir de los años 50 y ha tenido sus adaptaciones en cine y televisión, muy recordada es la exitosa adaptación cinematográfica de 1995 que contó con Christina Ricci como protagonista y fue el primer film en tener a un personaje creado por computación como protagonista.

    Pero, entrando en materia, el caso que se va a explicar en esta entrada se trata de la demanda que Harvey Comics, empresa que fue la casa editorial de Casper durante más de 40 años, presentó contra la productora Columbia Pictures debido a que el fantasma que es parte del logo del mítico film de los 80 Ghosbuters o Los Cazafantasmas es muy parecido a uno de los fantasmas que forma  parte de la serie Casper.
